WHO-FIC CC in the Netherlands translates and maintains WHO health classifications, such as the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems -10th Revision (ICD-10) and International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). for use in the Netherlands. It promotes the implementation of these classifications through training and advisory services relating to the classifications and their (potential) applications. Another important activity of the Centre is to contribute to the international update and revision of these WHO health classifications, through the committees and reference groups of the WHO-FIC Network.
