Er bestaat onduidelijkheid over de codes voor toegelaten desinfecterende middelen van het Ctgb Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides). Het is onduidelijk welke codes momenteel worden gehanteerd. De EU Europese Unie (Europese Unie)- of SA-code (EU-/SA- gevolgd door 7 cijfers) wordt momenteel niet gebruikt door het Ctgb voor toegelaten middelen. Mogelijk is dat het in de toekomst wel als geldende code zal gelden.
