First figures on COVID-19 vaccination coverage available

From this week on, RIVM will start releasing updates on vaccination coverage in the first groups to be vaccinated in the Netherlands. The percentage of people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 is known for three groups of elderly people.

First vaccines for people aged 60-64 available Monday via GP

From 15 February on, the first people will be vaccinated against COVID-19 via their GP in the Netherlands. Due to the limited availability of the AstraZeneca vaccine, the first invitations will go to all people born in 1956 or 1957.

Minor decrease across the Netherlands, but not in all regions

In the period from 3 to 9 February, the reported number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 was 24,668. There were fewer reported positive tests, but the number only decreased by 14%, which was a smaller decrease than in recent weeks.
