Abstract

This report provides a survey of the concentration values and deposition loads of a large number of air pollutants as they occurred in the Netherlands in 1992. It thus characterizes the state of air quality in the lowest layer of the atmosphere. Furthermore, attention is paid this year for the first time to atmospheric problems at greater altitude, i.e. effects on the stratospheric ozone layer. Data on emissions, concentrations, deposition and their development in time are dealt with in this report per chemically similar group of substances, and in a limited number of environmental themes. Subsequently all measurement and modelling results are summarized per environmental theme.
