Samenvatting
In het kader van het Nationaal Plan voor de Kernongevallen-bestrijding (NPK) geeft het Informatie en Documentatiecentrum (IDC) van het LSO prognoses van de verspreiding van radioactieve nucliden. Hierbij wordt gebruik gemaakt van het verspreidingsmodel PUFF. Dit rapport beschrijft de implementatie van een nieuwe versie van het PUFF model op een LSO computer systeem, de versie NPK-PUFF. Deze versie heeft een verbeterde invoer-route en kan gebruik maken van meteovelden met een hogere resolutie, de HIRLAM meteovelden. Het rapport presenteert de stand van zaken op 1 januari 1996.
Abstract
Within the framework of the National Plan for Nuclear Emergency Planning and Response (in Dutch abbreviated as NPK) the Information and Documentation Centre (IDC) of the RIVM-laboratory of Radiation Research (LSO) gives prognoses on the dispersion of radioactive nuclides. For these prognoses the dispersion model PUFF is applied. This report describes the implementation of a new version of the PUFF model , the version NPK-PUFF. The new version has an improved user-interface, and can use meteorological fields with a higher resolution, the HIRLAM fields. This report presents the status of the project at the beginning of 1996.
