The WHO Foodborne Disease Burden Epidemiology Reference Group is providing estimates of the global burden of foodborne diseases, according to age, sex and region, for a defined list of causative agents of microbial, parasitic, and chemical origin, thereby strengthening the capacity of countries to assess the burden of foodborne disease and increasing awareness and commitment for the implementation of food safety standards.

Due to unforeseen delays the symposium has been rescheduled to December 15th and 16th, 2015. Join us on these days to learn about state-of-the art methodologies, acquaint with the results and engage in stakeholder discussions!

Information about the program, registration and accommodation will be on our website www.rivm.nl/fergsymposium. In case you need more information please send an email to FERGsymposium@rivm.nl.

We look forward to welcoming you in Amsterdam!
