English Abstract
The Netherlands chemical Substances Act (CSA) lays down that the Minister of Housing, Physical Planning and the Environment must regularly draw up an inventory of chemicals which are suspected of posing a risk to man and/or the environment. Substances and preparations selected are put on the list of substances needing special attention. This proposed list consists of 126 chemicals now. this report describes what kind of research or study is necessary. This necessity is strongly defined by lacunes in knowledge which is needed to carry out a good risk-assesment. This means more than only gathering information about application, occurence and exposure. Also attention is paid to chemical properties and effects. even target-groups for measures policy and control are included. On base of a, sometimes very global, risk-assesment also a priority is given.
